In its search for a new banking tool, the real estate developer and property owner from Stuttgart decided to use millio and thus integrated all online banking processes in Salesforce. Since then, numerous processes have been optimised.

We were able to talk to Jakob Klammer from the finance team at Schwäbische Liegenschaften. He told us what challenges the finance department faced again and again, how millio could help and which companies he recommends the Salesforce app to:

Jakob, what was your starting situation before millio?

We initially had an external banking tool in use - independent of Salesforce. We had many manual processes, potential sources of error. With our already very complex organisational structure, we simply lacked a simple but effective process for dealing with invoices and banking.

How did you feel about getting started using the Salesforce app?

millio is intuitive to use. If you are familiar with Salesforce in general, you can quickly get to grips with the app. One positive aspect was that millio directly relieved us of many manual processes.

What has changed for you because of millio?

Everyone in the team can prepare payments, financial competence is only needed in the last step when sending and checking the payment orders to the bank. This saves me a lot of time personally. In addition, our processes are now faster and error-free. millio acts as another control authority. Our controlling has thus been simplified many times over.

What advice would you give to those who are interested in millio but are currently hesitant?

As an accounting employee, simply ask the decision-maker to take a look at the current manual process and accompany you. It usually only then becomes clear how much time is lost at this point and that there is a need for action that can be solved very quickly and easily with millio.

Would you recommend millio and if so, to whom?

I would definitely recommend millio to all companies and Salesforce users with a lot of incoming and outgoing invoices who also want to make their banking processes more transparent and traceable.
